This module enables participants without advanced professional knowledge and understanding organisational and human resource management to gain an advanced overview and appreciation of the immensely valuable body of knowledge available.
To ensure that participants:
- Have an advanced appreciation of the basics of the main functions and processes of organisational management.
- Have a similar appreciation of ecological sustainability and Sustainable Development issues in relation to the managerial framework within which they have to be addressed
- Develop an advanced appreciation of the often-overlooked universal organisational diagnostic toolset (covering motivation, roles and interactions, leadership, power and influence, working of groups, culture of organisations, politics and change, organisational design, pathological organisation).
- Gain a professional appreciation of the common quality tools including root cause analysis, FMEA, input/output analysis, TQM and an overview of the common personal change tools available.
